QFX welcomes members of the press from around the globe and we are happy to provide approved media members with a complimentary press badge. Please note that approval to receive a press badge is not guaranteed and to ensure a high standard of quality, we kindly ask that those who apply please read this page carefully before applying.
Who Can Apply?
QFX press registration is open for journalists regularly making editorial contributions. Editorial press includes writers, reporters, reviewers, producers, photographers, videographers, etc. who are attending specifically to write about QFX and/or cover the event for newspapers, magazines, TV, blogs, podcasts, radio, etc.
Information
QFX press badges provide complimentary access to QFX for all three days of the event. Press badges are extended as a courtesy of QFX and will allow access to panels as long as space is available. Press badges do not allow:

Early or special access to QFX East

Guaranteed seating at panels and workshops

The ability to cut lines

Free access into any events requiring an additional ticket

Entry into any lotteries (if applicable) for exclusives or private autographing, workshops or any ticketed events (our apologies, but these will be reserved for QFX fans buying tickets)
Guidelines
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. You'll be notified if you have been approved or denied within 21 business days of when application was received. If approved, additional information will be provided in your confirmation email and receipt. Every individual applying for a QFX press badge may only apply once.​

Each press badge is issued individually. If you're applying with a team, each person on your team needs to apply and be approved separately. (Psst, if you're approved and then email us saying you only received one badge and need more for your team, we reserve the right to shame you for not reading these guidelines before applying like we asked.)

Press badges are non-transferable and not able to be sold. Any individuals caught selling their press badge will be disqualified from attending future QFX-organized events. This is non-negotiable. PERIOD.

There will be no onsite Press registration at QFX East. Our online press application will be open until April 24, unless we reach maximum capacity at an earlier date. We strongly recommend you apply early as once all press badges are allocated, no more will be released.
Press badges are limited in nature and will be issued only to professionally employed adults. Badges will not be issued to children, family or guests.
